Sapphire blue caribbean jewels boast a uniquely striking blue color and an interesting large conical flower shape and is particularly easy to grow.

Plant September through December for blooms in February, March and April. Plant 2-3 inches deep in well-draining soil. Caribbean jewels prefer bright and cool locations in doors or uncovered and cool conditions outdoors. They are suprisingly cold hardy and can tolerate light frosts down to 28 degrees F.
